Kinder Ranch Elementary

Kinder Ranch Elementary School is a beautiful, green learning environment for your children. It includes many of the latest in “green school” technology such as a living roof, skylights which will provide natural lighting in the library, rainwater harvesting with on-site storage, an energy conservation system which automatically adjusts lighting in the classroom, water conservation fixtures and a geothermal heating and cooling system which uses a ground source well to heat and cool the building.

Middle and High School Campuses

Currently your children will attend Spring Branch Middle School (830-885-8800) and Smithson Valley High School (830-885-1000), also part of the Comal Independent School District. The CISD is rated a “recognized” school district and all campuses in the district are fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Twelve schools are  “exemplary” and ten schools are “recognized”. In addition, each year many CISD schools are recognized with Gold Performance Acknowledgment (GPA) Awards by the TEA for outstanding performance.

A new Middle School is under construction for completion late 2017 to early 2018. For more information concerning the CISD district schools visit

At Kinder Ranch, you’ll discover the ultimate
in “green living”.

Sometimes master-planning means leaving some things as nature planned them. At Kinder Ranch, open spaces have been left undisturbed to preserve the natural beauty – and improve the quality of the storm water that flows through the community. Plus much of the property has been protected as greenbelts, and natural preserves. And most amenities have been developed using natural Texas Limestone including a beautifully designed Recreation Center with a meeting room, covered patio and a Junior Olympic swimming pool. From undisturbed green spaces to the latest in green schools, you’ll find it all at Kinder Ranch.
